Lessons from Iowa (LFI) represents the lessons-learned from due diligence performed for and on the Iowa Stored Energy Park (ISEP) project. Among other things, Lessons found that a utility-scale, bulk electric energy storage facility coordinated with renewable energy resources and operating in the Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO) market can be cost-effective compared to conventional natural gas-fired electric generation alternatives.
